Muthoni Babytop urges women not to fully depend on men for survival
Kameme FM host Muthoni Babytop has advised women to prioritise self-reliance and personal stability rather than relying entirely on men or relationships for survival.
In a WCW message shared with her female followers on Facebook on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Muthoni encouraged women to build their own financial security, peace and personal plans so that their lives do not completely fall apart whenever relationships end or people change.

According to her, many women often become too emotionally and financially dependent on love, only to struggle deeply once the people they rely on walk away or change their behaviour.
“WCW ladies ? Let me tell you something. A woman should never be fully dependent on love or a man or anyone because the moment they switch up, your whole life shouldn’t have to,” she wrote.
The media personality stressed that while being cared for by a partner may feel comforting, true power comes from being capable of taking care of oneself independently.
Muthoni further explained that women should ensure they have their own money, goals and peace of mind because personal stability offers freedom and confidence beyond temporary comfort from relationships.
“That’s why you need your own! your own money, your own plan, your own peace. Because being provided for feels NICE, but being secure feels POWERFUL,” she added.
She also noted that women can still enjoy love, support and provision from partners while at the same time maintaining independence and personal security.
The influencer warned women against building lifestyles that can easily collapse once a relationship ends, saying emotional and financial preparedness are important for long-term stability.
Muthoni Babytop maintained that true strength is not found in who chooses to love someone, but in knowing one can still survive, remain peaceful and continue progressing even after separation or heartbreak.
“And there’s the difference between I’m taking care of or I can take care of myself. One gives you comfort, but the other gives you freedom. And you can have both. But make sure your peace, your home, your lifestyle don’t collapse the moment somebody leaves you. Because real power isn’t found in who loves you,It’s found in knowing that even if they stop, you’ll still be good!” she wrote.
