Mulamwah issues update hours after Ruth K remarks on their baby’s condition
Content creator Ken Mulamwah has left fans in stitches while also easing growing concerns online.
This is after he shared a light-hearted reel of himself spending quality time with his young son, just a day after his estranged bestie Ruth K, the child’s mother, revealed she had been going through a distressing period with the baby.
A playful moment online
The comedian’s post on Saturday, January 3, 2026, showed the two enjoying playful moments, a sharp contrast to the emotional update Ruth K had shared earlier, where she disclosed that the baby had been crying uncontrollably for days.

The reel quickly attracted reactions, with many followers relieved to see the child smiling and seemingly calm.
Mulamwah later followed up with a photo of himself and the boy, accompanied by a reassuring caption.
“The eyes have it, Oyando mini and max. Kijana ako fine, lifundo sasa tu. Ilikua missment. God is great, the boy is home… alikua amenimiss tu. Boys day it is,” he wrote on Facebook.
The post appeared to directly address concerns raised by Ruth K, who had earlier painted a worrying picture of the baby’s condition.
In an emotional Instagram post shared on Friday, January 2, 2026, Ruth revealed that her son Oyando Junior had been crying nonstop for nearly eight days.
She said the child had barely eaten or slept, leaving her exhausted, confused, and deeply worried as 2025 ended and 2026 began under a cloud of anxiety.

“Lately, a lot has been happening. My baby has been crying nonstop for almost eight days.
“No eating, no sleeping. This has been the toughest season of life,” Ruth stated, adding that multiple hospital visits had failed to yield answers.
Ruth K’s painful ordeal
According to Ruth, doctors in some of Nairobi’s top hospitals could not identify any illness or medical condition to explain the persistent crying.
She explained that the video she shared only captured a small portion of what they had been enduring at home.
“Am posting this here with a heavy heart,” she added, describing herself as a heartbroken parent unsure of what to do next.

Mulamwah’s update, showing the child back home and in good spirits, appeared to reassure fans that the immediate crisis had eased.
While questions remain about what caused the distress, many followers welcomed the lighter moment, hopeful that Oyando Junior is now on the path to full comfort and recovery.
