‘Mr 24%’ – Muhoozi mocks Bobi Wine again after election polls
President Yoweri Museveni’s son, General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, has directly and publicly mocked National Unity Platform leader Bobi Wine.
Through his X account, on Thursday, January 22, Muhoozi responded to a long tweet by Wine with a four-word sentence mocking him using the number of votes that were announced by Uganda’s electoral commission.
In his tweet, the NUP leader referenced a screenshot containing tweets by the general, some of which threatened to cause harm to him and his followers. Muhoozi replied with “Boo hoo hoo, Mr 24%.”

Bobi Wine went ahead to state that while Muhoozi was dishing out the threats, military men camping outside his compound were busy banging his doors, ordering those inside to get out if they were “men”.
“Last night, as Museveni’s son was making these threats to kill me and gloating over killing 22 of our supporters (in reality, he has killed over 100 since last week), the military, who are stationed inside our compound, yet again banged on my house doors as they sang profanities, ordering the occupants to come out of the house if they’re men. The people at my home say the criminals seemed to be drunk,” Wine posted.
To conclude his post, Bobi Wine demanded that the military vacate his home with immediate effect and pointed out that his family was not safe. He explained that the men stationed outside his house have gone to the extent of blocking food from reaching his family.

“We demand that the military vacate our home immediately. My wife and I are not safe. They’re starving after these criminals blocked food from reaching them. They cut the padlocks off our gates and replaced them with chains. FREE UGANDA NOW,” concluded the post.
General Muhoozi has been on the receiving end of a backlash after his controversial tweets, and he does not seem to be slowing down. This is not the first time, as he has been on similar streets before and brushed shoulders many times before with different people over his online posts.
