Mosiria demands justice for cab driver who was assaulted in Kilimani by 4 ladies
Nairobi County’s Citizen Engagement and Customer Care boss, Geoffrey Mosiria, has demanded justice for a Nairobi-based cab driver who was assaulted by four ladies.
In a post on his official X account on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Mosiria demanded that the incident be promptly handled by police officers.

“Yesterday, I met an Uber driver who was beaten up by four ladies in Kilimani, and the recorded video went viral online, yet the same ladies are still walking freely out here with no consequences,” Mosiria said.
“For how long are we going to neglect and ignore the boy child? The empowerment of the girl child, while important, has unfortunately left the boy child vulnerable and treated like an endangered species. A time has come for us to speak the hard truth: empowerment must be balanced,” Mosiria added.
Mosiria demanded that the four ladies linked to the assault be re-arrested and presented to court.
“We must protect all our children and citizens, regardless of gender. I call upon the police to intervene immediately, re-arrest the four ladies, and ensure they are produced in court to answer for beating up this Uber driver. Let this case serve as a warning that violence against the boy child will not be tolerated,” he added.
The incident
In a video shared by Geoffrey Mosiria on his social media accounts on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, the cab driver said that he had been requested by a male client, picked him up and was waiting for the client’s friends to arrive when the incident happened.
The driver explained that the client was already inside the vehicle.
While waiting, he says, four women approached his car, with one attempting to open the front door and another trying to access the back.
“Mimi nilikuwa nimerequestiwa na client, a guy, nikaenda kumchukua hapo Black Samurai, so the customer alikuja akaingia kwa gari as we wait for his friends to come,” the driver narrated.
“So hao wasichana walikuja wakashuka hapo chini wakafungua mlango, mmoja akafungua mlango akakaa mbele mwegine akajaribu kufungua nyuma akapata kuna client amekaa hapo wakamwambia ashuke wao wako wanne na hii gari ni kubwa na yenye walirequest ilikuwa ndogo.“
