Milly Wa Jesus’s mum issues emotional update after her father’s death
By Steve Ireri, May 22, 2026Grace, the mother of Kenyan content creator Milly Wa Jesus, has emotionally thanked friends, supporters and mourners for standing with their family following the death of her father.
Speaking during a burial preparation meeting shared on Milly’s page on Friday, May 22 2026, Grace became emotional as she reflected on the overwhelming support the family had received from those who attended the gathering.
She expressed gratitude to everyone who showed up to mourn with the family, saying their presence, prayers and songs had comforted them during the painful period.
“I am Grace, and today I can say I am at least a bit happy because you all came and mourned with us and sang during the burial meeting. Today, during this burial meeting, it was exceptional because you all came with energy and also helped with chores,” she said.
According to her, the burial meeting stood out from previous gatherings because of the energy and commitment shown by those in attendance, many of whom also assisted the family with various chores and preparations linked to the burial plans.

She admitted that without the help and support they received, it would have been difficult for her and her husband to manage everything on their own.
“I want to say God has helped us. We have done so many things today, unlike any other day, in line with plans to lay our father to rest. If I were alone, just me and my husband, we could not have managed. God is really good,” she shared.
Grace further noted that despite the grief and emotional pain that comes with losing a loved one, she could still see God’s hand in the way people had surrounded and supported the family.
She explained that many important arrangements connected to laying her late father to rest had been accomplished because of the collective effort from friends and supporters.
The emotional mother also assured those who had stood with her family that she would always be available for them whenever they needed her, saying she deeply appreciated the love and solidarity they had shown during the difficult moment.
“I also want to say that whenever you want me, I will always be available because you have stood with me,” she said.
