Maurine Kabu expresses gratitude to dad Simon for support in end-of-year post

Travel entrepreneur and influencer Maurine Kabu has expressed heartfelt gratitude to her father, Simon Kabu, for his guidance and unwavering support throughout 2025 in an emotional end-of-year post.
In the post she made on Facebook on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Maurine credited her father’s belief in her with helping her navigate challenges and achieve milestones over the past year.
“As 2026 approaches, my heart is full. To our incredible clients who trusted us with your dreams, and to my dad, Simon Kabu for the guidance and belief,” Maurine wrote.
Maurine then extended her appreciation to her employees, describing them as dedicated and hard-working individuals who gave their all to ensure the success of the company.
She also thanked her clients, acknowledging that every booking, every cheer, every late night, and every accomplishment contributed to making 2025 a memorable year.
“My heart is full for the amazing Adequate Safaris team who gave their all, and to everyone who stood with us through 2025. Thank you,” she added.

She described the year as a journey that had evolved into a testimony, emphasising that no moment was taken for granted.
Maurine expressed excitement for the future, noting that the work done in 2025 was only the beginning of bigger things to come.
“What started as a journey became a testimony. Every booking, every cheer, every late night, every win mattered. We don’t take a single moment for granted. This is only the beginning #maurinekabu #itravelwithadequate #adventureawaits,” Maurine posted.

Truphena’s gift
The development came just days after Maurine Kabu sponsored environmental activist Truphena Muthoni for a trip to Dubai, following Muthoni’s 72-hour tree hug.
At the time, Maurine Kabu wrote that she had delivered on her promise and helped make Muthoni’s dream a reality.
“Another promise delivered. Another dream airborne. Seeing off Truphena Muthoni Hsc as she heads to Dubai in style, fully sponsored by Adequate Safaris,” she wrote.
She noted that Truphena was heading to Dubai in style on a fully sponsored six-day, five-night vacation arranged by her company.
Maurine said the sponsorship was a reward for excellence meeting opportunity and highlighted that she had promised the trip after Muthoni set a world record just days earlier.
“This is what happens when excellence meets opportunity. The world is calling—and we answer. We promised Truphena Muthoni Hsc a 6-day, 5-night Dubai vacation after she set a world record just days ago and we meant every word,” she wrote at the time
