Manzi Wa Mombasa hits out at Kawira over lost opportunity to shine at Kanyari’s church

Social media influencer Manzi Wa Mombasa has publicly criticised fellow TikToker Anne Kawira, accusing her of gossip and failing to make the most of the opportunities she once had at Pastor Victor Kanyari’s SHM church.
The online confrontation comes after Kawira, who was previously a prominent member and close to the preacher, stopped attending church activities, leaving a gap that Manzi wa Mombasa has since filled.
Speaking in a video shared on her TikTok page on Saturday, February 7, 2026, Manzi wa Mombasa accused Kawira of coming to church with ulterior motives rather than genuine spiritual intent.
“Kawira, I can’t believe you would gossip about me. After being rejected, you come to church not just to praise, but to look for a husband, and now you are bringing your feelings to me,” she said.
She criticised Kawira for attempting to bring personal feelings into other people’s lives and spreading gossip about her.
“I, on the other hand, have gone to church to worship, not to engage in the things you were doing,” she added.
Manzi wa Mombasa also took aim at Kawira’s past decisions, claiming that had Kawira been a brilliant person, she would have left Kanyari’s church only after establishing herself and securing a better life.
Instead, Manzi wa Mombasa said, Kawira’s choices led her to a situation where she lacks direction and credibility, forcing her to scatter everywhere.
“If you were truly smart, you would have left Kanyari’s church once you had established yourself and become well-off. But because of your poor choices, you don’t have a clear path in life, which is why you are scattering everywhere,” she lashed.
She further warned Kawira against attempting to publicly shame or expose her, stating that while she knows about private matters and photos shared in confidence, she has refrained from exposing Kawira out of principle.
She made it clear that any attempt by Kawira to gossip or reveal her personal life would be met with retaliation.
“Do not make me remember the things you have done, including the private photos you once sent me. I could expose you, but I have never had the time to shame other women publicly. So please, do not dare to gossip about me or try to expose me, because if you do, I will also expose you and discuss your actions very publicly,” she said.
