Brian Chira’s grandmother showed off her sleek dance moves as she joined dozens of worshippers in an energetic worship session at Salvation Healing Ministry on Sunday, September 20, 2026.
The lively session at the church, based in Njiru along Kangundo Road, saw attendees move to the front of the church as they danced energetically to a mixture of songs, turning the worship moment into a vibrant display of music, movement and celebration.
Chira’s grandmother, who recently became a member of the church, appeared happy as she joined the other worshippers on the floor and freely danced alongside them.
She was among tens of attendees who had moved to the front as the special worship session gathered momentum, with the worshippers breaking into different dance styles as they followed the rhythm of the songs.
The group also formed several circles during the session, with worshippers taking turns dancing as others joined in, creating a lively atmosphere inside the church.
The dancers moved to a wide variety of songs, with the playlist featuring both Christian worship songs and local vernacular hits, alongside some secular songs that got the congregation moving.
Chira’s grandmother appeared to enjoy every moment of the session, joining the other worshippers as they danced through several rounds before returning to their seats.
The special worship session was led and conducted by TikToker Nyawira wa Kamotho, who is an aide to Salvation Healing Ministry founder Pastor Victor Kanyari.
Nyawira kept the worshippers engaged as the session continued, with the congregation responding energetically to the different songs and dance routines.
Kanyaris’s sermon
Away from the energetic worship session, Pastor Victor Kanyari also addressed the congregation during the Sunday service, speaking about leadership, faith and the importance of serving others.
“There’s one thing I love about Ndindi Nyoro, which is he leads as a leader, not a politician, and that’s why Kiharu is one of the most developed constituencies in Kenya,” Kanyari said.
The pastor also used the service to share a message of faith and gratitude with his congregation as worshippers gathered for the Sunday service.
“A blessed Sunday in the presence of God,” he said.
Kanyari further expressed gratitude for what he described as God’s grace, love and the opportunity for worshippers to gather together.
“Grateful for His grace, His love, and the opportunity to worship together,” he said.
“May this new week bring us renewed strength, fresh hope, and countless blessings,” Kanyari said.
The pastor encouraged worshippers to remain steadfast in their faith while extending love and service to others.
“Let’s keep trusting God, walking in faith, and serving others with love,” he said.
