Majembe vs Mbavu Destroyer: Obinna responds to Mosiria’s accusations of scripting the bout
Following the viral Vurugu Fight Night bout between Majembe and Mbavu Destroyer, Nairobi County Chief Officer for Citizen Engagement and Customer Service, Geoffrey Mosiria, has come out and claimed that the entire match was scripted.
According to Mosiria, the event’s organiser, Steve Thompson Maghana, widely known as Oga Obinna, orchestrated the fight to keep him out and control the outcome.

“The entire boxing match was scripted by Obina, and that is why they created propaganda to keep me out of it,” Mosiria claimed.
“This was “mchezo wa town.” I knew about it, and that is why I chose not to attend.”
Obinna’s response
In his response, the media personality dismissed Mosiria’s claims, saying he was chasing clout and spreading falsehoods.
He explained that Mosiria asked for tickets, which were denied, and accused him of being a time-waster
“Mosiria, I have seen your video, sometimes before you blabber. Can you sometimes stop and think? It is not illegal to think, Obinna stated.
“Tell the people the truth, waambie uliniomba tickets nikakunyima, ukanipigia ata sikuwa nashika simu zako, why? because I know you are a time waster, you are a clout chaser.”
Obinna emphasised that the fight was legitimate, asking Mosiria to praise the work done for the youth instead of being a hater
“When someone is doing something amazing for society, something amazing for the youth, for Kenyans, give flowers where is due. Will it hurt you? utakufa?” he added.
“Ulikuwa hapo? hukuwa you were watching online just like any other person who did not manage to come stop just being a hater, mimi nitakutafuta na nitakupiga bro mimi sitakuweka.”
Mosiria’s more claims
Mosiria went further with his claims and added that the entire fight was a scripted event designed to mislead Kenyan fans who were expecting a real boxing match.
“The entire thing witnessed today is a scheme to con innocent Kenyans who have been waiting to watch real boxing for a long time, only to end up watching a scripted event,” Mosiria added.
“The beneficiary of the entire script is Obina.In all this Kenyans will be spending money denying other boxers a chance to compete and grow their talents.”
