In a heartfelt gesture that has captured the attention of online users, music producer and artiste Magix Enga has taken his love for his wife, Joy, to a permanent level.

The Beat King, as he is popularly known, unveiled a new tattoo on his Instagram post on Sunday, May 10, 2026, featuring his wife’s face, alongside an emotional caption reflecting on their relationship and shared journey.

Magix Enga shared a video showing off the fresh tattoo while expressing how deeply his wife has impacted his life. In the clip, the producer proudly introduced the artwork while speaking about the meaning behind it.

“I have a new tattoo. This is my wife. Uh, what can we say? Hapa ndio mapenzi imenifikisha,” he said.

Emotional caption

Alongside the video, Magix Enga shared an emotional caption saying his wife supported him during his lowest moments and deserved to be remembered forever through the tattoo.

“Not everybody will understand it, but love like this deserves to be remembered forever 💯 She saw me at my lowest and still treated me like a king 👑 #joy #jojo 💯,” he wrote.

Marriage journey

The show of affection comes months after Magix Enga tied the knot with his partner, Joy, popularly known as Jojo, in a low-key civil ceremony that marked a fresh chapter in his personal life.

The marriage came after a highly publicised breakup with his girlfriend Ruth Otieno in late 2025, a split that played out on social media amid emotional exchanges and co-parenting discussions over their son.

Over the years, the music producer has also been open about his personal struggles, including battles with depression and a difficult period in his career that saw him step back from the limelight and relocate to Eldoret in search of stability.

During that period, he had previously credited Jojo with being a source of peace and emotional support, helping him rebuild both his life and music journey.
