‘Kupigania dem zii’: Mosiria speaks after intervening in a fight over girls
By Charles Ouma, March 19, 2026Geoffrey Mosiria has stated that young men should never fight over women, adding that the supply of women is plentiful.
Mosiria, who intervened in a case where a young man was left nursing serious injuries after a fight over a lady, turned brutal, noting that violence should not be used to resolve disagreements.

“Wasichana ni kitu ya kupigania venye wamejaaa hivi (Is there a need to fight over girls when they are in plenty),” Mosiria remarked on Thursday, March 19, 2026, after residents told him that the scuffle, which left the young woman bleeding and injured, was caused by a fight over girls.
Enough opportunities for love
The head of customer service in Nairobi county emphasised that there are enough opportunities for everyone to find love, saying that fights and deaths over relationships should not
“There are enough opportunities for love and relationships for everyone. No one is worth losing your life or taking someone else’s life over. Let us respect one another and handle such matters with maturity and dignity,” he added.
The young man recounted that he was subjected to mob justice by love rivals, with Mosiria calling out those behind the incident for resorting to actions that cause more harm and destroy lives.
He advised the young man to seek medical treatment in a hospital before filing a report at the police station, and to pursue the matter using legal channels.
Mosiria addresses violence
He noted that disagreements should never escalate to violence, including mob justice.
“Vijana, there is no need to fight or harm one another over relationship issues. Disagreements should never escalate into violence. Why subject a fellow young man to mob justice?” Mosiria stated.
He used the opportunity to sensitise residents on Gender-based violence, sharing his observation that men tend to suffer in silence.

Mosiria has been an advocate of the boychild, using his platforms to highlight their plight and intervene in several needy cases.
“Gender-Based Violence is not selective. Men, too, suffer in silence. Empowering the boy child does not compete with empowering the girl child it ensures balance and justice for all. Violence has no gender, crime has no gender, and the law must have no gender. This is not about emotions; it is about accountability,” he stated while intervening in a recent case.
