Kiengei appeals for information on gospel singer Mary Atieno’s whereabouts

In a heartfelt statement shared on his official Facebook account on Sunday, March 1, 2026, Kiengei described Atieno as a legendary mother in the gospel music industry and ministry.
He further praised Atieno for her spiritual impact over the years, saying her music inspired many believers to love God and grow in faith.
According to Kiengei, her popular song “Adamu na Eva” remains a powerful anthem in many churches, continuing to bless generations long after its release.
“Mary Atieno is our legend mother who inspired us to love God, Her music has inspired us to sing, mostly her hit song ‘Adamu na Eva’.” Kiengei said.
In addition, the preacher added that Kenyans should not allow her to suffer in pain and poverty while they continued to consume what the Holy Spirit had instilled in her.
“We should not allow her to drain in pain and poverty while we still consume what the Holy Spirit instilled in her,” he added.

The bishop further revealed that JCM Church is ready to uplift and restore the veteran singer’s dignity. However, the church is seeking to connect with her family, management, or anyone who may know her whereabouts.
