Jaymo Ule Msee creates space for his online critics to dump toxicity

Renowned Kenyan content creator and comedian Wilson Muirani Gathoni, popularly known as Jaymo Ule Msee, has found a creative way to manage online negativity by creating a dedicated space for his critics to write toxic comments, keeping his main comment sections positive and constructive.
Taking to his Instagram account on Sunday, January 4, 2025, Jaymo shared a photo of himself standing next to a suggestion box, explaining that it was a space for his online critics to dump toxic comments instead of cluttering his main comment section.
“Nimewatengenezea Kabox ka kudump Toxicity badala ya Comments Section,” Jaymo wrote.
By creating this suggestion box, Jaymo is sending a message to his critics, giving them a figurative space to vent while keeping his comment section positive and free from unnecessary negativity.

Message to critics
In the video directed to his critics, he said gossiping had become a serious business that requires accountability, especially in an era where information spreads fast.
Jaymo argued that people who share stories about others often act as if they have “high-level intelligence” and reliable sources, yet they rarely take responsibility when their claims turn out to be false.
“Unajua gossipers, eh, need to be held accountable,” he said.
According to Jaymo, anyone who gives out stories about people’s lives should be ready to stand by them or publicly explain when things go wrong.
“You need to come out strongly so that your reputation as a serial gossiper ibaki ikiwa juu,” he said, adding humorously that one can say their sources were compromised or even that they were “scammed by the devil.”

Jaymo’s message suggested that gossiping has now become a “brand” for some people, and like any brand, it requires credibility and accountability.
“With accountability as a gossiper, you come out as a brand,” he noted, stressing that individuals should own up to mistakes instead of misleading the public.
Embracing Islam
In a post shared on his official Instagram account on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, Jaymo uploaded a video showing himself inside a mosque as he underwent the conversion process.
The comedian further expressed gratitude and peace, emphasising surrender to Allah as the foundation of this transformation.
“Today I begin again. A healed heart, a renewed soul, and a life surrendered to Allah. From this moment forward, my steps are guided by faith, service, and purpose. Alhamdulillah,” he wrote.
