iShowSpeed: American streamer who is set to visit Kenya commences African tour in Angola

American streamer iShowSpeed, who is set to visit Kenya, has commenced his African tour in Angola, arriving to a vibrant welcome marked by music, crowds, and nonstop fan interaction.

The high-profile content creator touched down in Angola as the first stop of his much-anticipated Africa tour, instantly drawing attention from locals eager to meet him.

Streets and beaches quickly turned into live-stream backdrops as fans surrounded the streamer, chanting, cheering, and challenging him in spontaneous moments that would later go viral.

One of the most talked-about incidents from his Angola stop unfolded during a live stream at a beach location, where a local resident confidently approached iShowSpeed and challenged him to a pull-up contest.

The streamer, known for his athletic persona and high-energy confidence, accepted the challenge without hesitation.

Despite his expectations, the local outperformed him in the pull-up challenge, forcing iShowSpeed to concede defeat in front of thousands of live viewers.

“I want to challenge you – [I can do] more pull-ups than you,” the local said.

“You can do more pull-ups than me?” Speed asked.

Laughing and visibly surprised, the streamer acknowledged the loss, crediting the local’s strength and training.

Unwilling to let the moment end there, iShowSpeed immediately pushed for redemption, this time proposing a foot race.

Confident in his speed, he challenged the same local to sprint against him. The two lined up as fans gathered around, turning the race into an impromptu spectacle. As expected, iShowSpeed won the race, celebrating loudly while the crowd erupted in cheers.

Both competitors shared laughs afterwards, with each claiming victory in their respective strengths, one in power, the other in speed, perfectly capturing the unscripted, competitive, and entertaining nature of the tour.

The Angola visit has already set the tone for what the streamer has branded “Speed Does Africa,” a 28-day, continent-spanning IRL livestream project that will see him travel through 20 African countries.

The tour officially began on December 29, 2025, and is being streamed live daily on YouTube and Twitch.
