Gloria Ntazola shares why she prefers solitude over close friendships

Gloria Ntazola has spoken about why she prefers to stay alone, saying she does not keep close friendships because of how women relate with each other.
She shared her thoughts in a message that has sparked conversations online about friendship, trust, and personal space.
Ntazola explained that she has chosen solitude because she often feels friendships among women come with pressure and competition. According to her, relationships can change depending on how someone is viewed in terms of success or progress in life.
“I don’t have friends because to be friends with women u must be below them. If you are doing okay and slightly above them, you automatically become a threat,” Gloria Ntazola said on Monday, May 25, 2026.
She added that this is the reason she prefers to keep to herself instead of trying to maintain close friendships. Ntazola explained that she avoids situations that may bring unnecessary tension or misunderstanding.
“I chill by myself to avoid that,” she said.
The reason behind choosing solitude
Ntazola went on to explain that she does not enjoy drama or emotional pressure that can come from close relationships. She said she prefers peace and distance rather than dealing with conflicts that may arise in friendships.
“I don’t like drama, and I get tired of someone being too close,” Gloria Ntazola added.
She also believes that maintaining distance helps her avoid unnecessary emotional stress. According to her, being alone allows her to focus on herself without outside pressure or competition.
Her take on relationships
This comes after Ntazola recently urged women to change how they approach relationships with men. She advised women not to try to impress men who are not offering commitment or genuine love.
In her message shared on Instagram on Sunday, March 15, 2026, she encouraged women to be careful about where they invest their time and emotions. She said some women end up doing too much for men who are not serious about long-term relationships.
“Stop trying to impress a nigga with wifey traits, bill that boy and give him a list of fake business ideas he’s here for pleasure, not love,” Ntazola said.
Her statement suggested that women should not act like wives for men who are only interested in temporary relationships. She continues to share opinions that challenge how people view love, friendship, and independence in modern society.
