Kenyan Afropop star Bien-Aimé Baraza has opened up about his much-anticipated collaboration with veteran Tanzanian singer Ali Kiba, dubbed Finale, which was officially released on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.
Speaking during an interview hours after its official premiere, Bien revealed that the song was actually recorded two years ago.
Despite the long wait, Bien says it still feels fresh and relevant today.
“Huu wimbo tulirecord two years ago, na nyimbo ambayo ni nzuri haiishi utamu na haiishi relevance; hii ngoma tangu ile siku tulirecord hadi sasa hivi tunaizindua imekuwa tu na relevance,” Bien revealed.
Speaking about the track, he explained that great music does not lose its charm over time.
“Mtu ambaye anasikiliza hii nyimbo leo na yule aliisikiliza miaka mbili zilizopita ana feel ni kama nyimbo ni mpya tu,”he added.

Additionally, the award-winning musician also highlighted his strong working relationship with Ali Kiba, noting that this is not their first collaboration.
“Si mara yangu ya kwanza kufanya kazi na Ali Kiba, mimi na yeye tumefanya nyimbo mingi pamoja na kila mara mimi na yeye tunapatana ni stima na maji,” Bien stated.
