Salvation and Healing Ministry has become a refuge for Kenyan women who gained sudden online fame for the wrong reasons. Such fame often comes with unexpected consequences, leading them to seek solace and guidance.

The church’s founder, Pastor Victor Kanyari, has welcomed these women, providing a space where they feel comfortable, empowered, and spiritually nurtured.

Ladies such as Marion Naipei and Choice Kinoti have become symbols of this trend. After making headlines for controversial or viral moments, both women turned to Kanyari’s Church, where they found a space to reflect, regain balance, and navigate the fallout from public scrutiny.

Here are some of the reasons women prefer going to Kanyari’s church after trending for the wrong reasons.

No judgement

Kanyari, during one of his church preachings, revealed that he does not judge people based on their past. This was regarding Marion Naipei’s viral videos that broke the internet.

Mimi, I do not judge people. huyu ni mama wa mtoto mmoja, mambo zengine unaweza kuwa umeshiba na unafikiri unaweza judge watu, I do not judge people na mimi haiwezi nitisha,” Kanyari said.

Financial support

The self-proclaimed prophet is known for his generosity when it comes to offering support.

On Sunday, February 22, 2026, Kanyari gifted Choice Kinoti, the young woman who met the viral Russian guy, Ksh 30,000 after she visited his church.

“I will go to the office together with you, and we will also have lunch together. We will speak more then. For now, I am handing you Ksh30,000 and the business you want. I will help you open it. Don’t worry; this is just a small gesture for you,” he said.

This comes after he gifted Ksh50,000 to Marion on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

“Today, because you are my friend, nimekubariki na 50 thousand. Nilikua nimesema nitakupatia,” he said.

Empowerment

Apart from monetary gifts, the preacher also promised to open a business for Choice after opening a business for Marion.

Spiritual guidance

In addition to empowerment and support, Kanyari provides spiritual guidance, helping women turn a new leaf.

“Very soon, Marion atakuwa our pastor hapa, nitam ordain hapa na akuwe pastor atakuwa anatuhubiria hapa hata mimi atakuwa pastor wangu,” Kanyari revealed.

The preacher said he ensured Naipei joined his church as a way of offering support and guidance during the challenging period.

“That’s why nika make sure amekuja kanisani.”

In a world where trends come and go, Kanyari’s Church continues to serve as a refuge for women seeking direction, healing, and a chance to rewrite their stories, proving that even the harshest viral moments can lead to self-discovery and transformation.
