Cukura Ya Nairobi’s light message after gospel singer Pius Pianist marries in beautiful ceremony
By Steve Ireri, May 24, 2026Facebook influencer Cukura Ya Nairobi has shared a light-hearted message from gospel singer Pius Pianist’s wedding, moments after the artiste tied the knot in a colourful ceremony held at PCEA Kasarani Church along Seasons Road.
The wedding, which brought together family, friends and supporters, officially united Pius Pianist and his bride, Cynthia Wairimu, in holy matrimony, with the ceremony beginning at 10:00 am before guests later proceeded to a reception at Kise Grounds.
According to Cukura Ya Nairobi, the atmosphere at the church was lively and emotional as the couple exchanged vows, with many guests witnessing the special occasion that marked a new chapter in the gospel singer’s life.
“This guy is called Pius Pianist from +254, and imagine today he had his wedding in Kasarani, and I was there. I managed to witness Pius whispering to his newly wedded wife,” Cukura said.
In his online narration, the content creator gave a humorous recap of some of the wedding moments, claiming he witnessed Pius Pianist speaking closely to his newlywed bride and expressing affectionate words as the ceremony unfolded.
He further joked about unsuccessfully trying to reach the gospel singer after the ceremony, suggesting that Pius was now fully focused on spending time with his wife following the big day.
“And he was telling her some things in her ear, reminding her of what he expects later at night when they meet in bed, saying that he misses her a lot,” Cukura said.

Cukura also narrated a moment at the wedding where a Master of Ceremonies announced the arrival of a popular bishop, but noted humorously that the crowd did not respond with much excitement, a moment that sparked laughter among some attendees.
“After the wedding, I tried calling Pius, but I cannot reach him. I think it is time he showed his wife exactly what he was saying earlier.
Breaking news from Pius Pianist’s wedding, an MC came and announced that a very popular bishop had arrived and asked the crowd to cheer,” he said.
The content creator added that he found the situation amusing, remarking that public reactions and crowd energy at events have changed over time, especially in modern-day gatherings.
“But people did not bother to cheer him. I just laughed so much. They should know that things are not like back in the day. I will send the video of the bishop failing to get cheers to Githaiga wa Chai,” he added.
The wedding, officially themed around love and unity, was attended by invited guests who gathered to celebrate the couple, with organisers encouraging prayers, support and well-wishes for the newly married pair as they begin their journey together.
