‘You’re already beautiful’- Rapudo says there was no need for Amber Ray’s cosmetic procedures

Socialite Amber Ray’s husband, Kennedy Rapudo, has questioned her decision to undergo cosmetic procedures, saying she was already beautiful.
Rapudo made the remarks in a post shared on Saturday, September 19, 2026, during a conversation with Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, and Amber Ray, as they discussed her decision to enhance her appearance.
In the conversation, Rapudo appeared puzzled by Amber Ray’s decision, asking what she had travelled to Turkey to do.
“You find there uko. Mina mawuliza, what are you going to do there? Si enhance… you’re already beautiful,” Rapudo said.
Jalang’o then responded to Rapudo’s remarks, referring to Amber Ray’s decision as “enhancing urembo”, prompting laughter from the group.
Amber Ray jokingly suggested that the men might eventually like the results of her transformation.
“Maybe ujafria but umefria. All of you. All of you. All of you,” she said.
Rapudo, however, responded that he had not yet seen the results.
“Sijafria bado. Sijatoa bado,” he said, as the group laughed.

Amber Ray travelled to Turkey for cosmetic procedures as part of a personal transformation journey.
On Wednesday, September 2, 2026, she announced her arrival in Turkey and said she was beginning her cosmetic journey with Monocosmetic Surgery.
She had earlier revealed plans for breast augmentation, saying she wanted “perfect boobs” as part of her transformation.
On Sunday, September 6, Amber Ray revealed that she had undergone three procedures at once and said her recovery had been smooth.
“Good morning, world. Waking up feeling grateful because imagine doing 3 surgeries at once and my recovery has been this smooth!” she said.
She also indicated that the recovery had been easier than she expected as she continued documenting her experience in Turkey.
