Years later, Marya opened up about their marriage and divorce, describing it as one of the most difficult experiences in her life. She said the separation happened during the COVID-19 period, when social media attention made the situation even harder to deal with.
“It was messy because it happened during COVID time; people were on social media looking for something to entertain them, so they went in to find out how this happened, and then it was after the loss of our kid,” Marya Prude said.
She also revealed that the divorce process was not smooth and was emotionally draining. Marya explained that the public nature of the separation made it more painful, especially coming after the death of their child.
“I was served on WhatsApp,” Marya Prude said, while describing how she received divorce papers in what she called a difficult and unexpected way.
Moving on with Ivy Namu
After their separation, Raburu moved on with content creator Ivy Namu, and their relationship later developed into a public partnership that many followed closely.
The couple welcomed two children together, a boy and a girl, and often shared moments of their family life. Their relationship was seen as a fresh start for Raburu after his previous marriage ended.
However, Ivy Namu has just confirmed that the two have separated after five years together. She announced the breakup through her Instagram Stories on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, asking for privacy as they each moved forward with their lives separately.
Raburu and Namu first had their child in 2021, a journey she had previously described as very personal. The announcement marked the end of a relationship that had grown into a family setup over the years.
