Marya Prude reveals why she’s rethinking her decision to never have children

Marya Prude has revealed that she is rethinking her long-held decision not to have children, saying she has recently found herself thinking about becoming a mother again despite the pain of losing her child in 2019.
On Thursday, July 27, 2026, she explained that for a long time, she was certain she never wanted children because she feared experiencing the same heartbreak again. However, she admitted that her feelings have started to change.
“I’ve always been adamant that I never want kids coz if what happened before happens again I don’t think I could live with it but yoh! Lately I’ve been thinking about having my kids and how that would feel, and I’m so scared and honestly excited at the same time. I don’t know how long this will last, so lemme just sit here with it,” Marya Prude said.

The content creator said she is feeling both fear and excitement as she thinks about the possibility of having children. She also admitted that she does not know whether these feelings will last, saying she wants to give herself time instead of rushing into any decision.
Moving forward after loss
Marya’s latest remarks come months after she spoke about another emotional step in her healing journey. She had earlier shared that she finally let go of her late daughter’s hospital bag, six years after losing her child.
“I had all that, and I got rid of them last year, on her birthday. I couldn’t open the hospital bag. This was in 2019; that was 2025, that was six years after,” Marya Prude said.
She explained that she had kept the hospital bag for years because she could not bring herself to open it. According to Marya, holding on to the bag was part of the grief she carried after her daughter’s death.

Marya said she eventually found the strength to let go of the belongings on her daughter’s birthday. She explained that it took six years before she felt ready to take that step and move forward in her own way.
Her latest comments show that she is now allowing herself to think about a future she had once ruled out. While she remains unsure about what lies ahead, Marya said she is choosing to sit with the emotions she is experiencing instead of forcing herself to make a decision.
“I don’t know how long this will last so lemme just sit here with it,” Marya Prude said.
