Vision 2060: Esther Musila hails Guardian Angel after KICC performance
By Valerian Khakayi, August 12, 2026Social media personality Esther Musila has showered praise on her husband, gospel singer Peter Omwaka, widely known as Guardian Angel, and young artiste Young Fortune following their performances during the launch of Vision 2060 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
The event was presided over by President William Ruto on Wednesday, August 12,2026.
Musila, who affectionately refers to Guardian Angel as “Omwaka”, expressed pride in the two performers after they took to the stage during the high-profile event.
In a message shared after the performances, Musila praised Guardian Angel for his performance while also celebrating Young Fortune, a young artiste signed to his Seven Heaven Music label.
“Have you seen my people today? The Omwaka himself,” Musila wrote.
She went on to highlight Young Fortune’s stage presence, expressing her excitement over how the young singer handled the performance.
“Have you seen my girl Young Fortune? Did you see how she commanded the stage? “My girl, I am super proud of you,” she added.
Young Fortune and Guardian Angel both performed at the Vision 2060 launch held at KICC, entertaining guests with separate performances.
Musila’s message also highlighted the support and mentorship provided to emerging artistes through Guardian Angel’s record label.
She proudly described Seven Heaven Music as a label that produces and nurtures talented performers while celebrating the achievements of both artistes.
“Seven Heaven music label – we breed the best. Young Fortune and Guardian Angel, I am so proud of you, my people,” Musila added.
The performances added an entertainment touch to the launch of Vision 2060, a long-term development blueprint focused on Kenya’s ambitions beyond the existing development frameworks.
Guardian Angel has established himself as one of Kenya’s notable gospel artistes, while Young Fortune represents a younger generation of talent emerging under his record label.

The Vision 2060 launch brought together government officials, leaders, professionals and other stakeholders to discuss Kenya’s long-term development ambitions.
The event also provided a platform for performers to showcase Kenyan talent as the country outlined its vision for the coming decades.
