Vindee left out of Kai Cenat’s Streamer University despite earlier selection claim

Content creator and streamer Vindee has been left out of Kai Cenat’s Streamer University Class of 2026, weeks after revealing during a livestream that he had received what appeared to be an acceptance email from the programme.

Kai Cenat unveiled the official Class of 2026 during a livestream on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, revealing more than 100 creators selected for the second edition of the highly sought-after creator programme. However, Vindee’s name was missing from the final list.

The omission came as a surprise to many of his supporters after Vindee had earlier shared what he believed was confirmation that he had been accepted.

The email that sparked celebration

Vindee had announced the development during a livestream alongside fellow content creator Thickyy Sandra, where the pair were going through his emails.

During the stream, Sandra opened an email relating to Streamer University and read part of its contents aloud.

“Your application has been received and reviewed. To proceed with the enrolment process…”

The email prompted excitement from both creators, who celebrated what they believed was Vindee’s acceptance into the programme.

The announcement was widely shared online, with many Kenyans congratulating the streamer and describing the achievement as a major milestone for the country’s content creation industry.

Missing from final class

Despite the earlier excitement, Vindee was not among the creators announced by Kai Cenat during the official Class of 2026 reveal.

Neither Vindee nor Kai Cenat had publicly explained why the Kenyan creator was absent from the final intake by the time of publication.

The final roster included more than 100 creators from around the world, among them Skai Jackson, Queen Naija, StableRonaldo, Sketch, DreamDoll, Plaqueboymax, JasonTheWeen and Aishah Sofey.

A handful of African creators also secured places in the programme, including Nigerian creators Carter Efe and Damii, as well as Ethiopian-American creator Elina Meng.

Founded by Kai Cenat, Streamer University has quickly become one of the internet’s most sought-after creator development programmes, attracting thousands of aspiring streamers hoping to learn from some of the biggest names in online content creation.

This year’s edition features a star-studded lineup of mentors and professors, including Pokimane, Ludwig, Duke Dennis, Lizzo, Maya Higa and Agent00, while Fanum serves as the campus police officer.
