Tulikuwa happy: Tr Cillah speaks on cute dance she did in front of George Ruto during meetup
By Steve Ireri, August 26, 2026Content creator and popular educator Teacher Cillah has shared a new video from her Westlands meetup with President William Ruto’s son George, in which she is seen pulling off a cute and lively Odi dance move while walking alongside the first son.
In a video shared on her TikTok page on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, Cillah clarified that the meetup, which was held at the school where she works, was largely about having a good time and creating an enjoyable experience for both teachers and pupils.
Cillah explained that the event gave the school community an opportunity to unwind, adding that the teachers and learners ultimately went home entertained after the lively afternoon.
She further noted that, in her view, ensuring that the children had a good time was the most important outcome of the event.
“Sisi kama Westlands tulikuwa happy. Children went home happy and that is all that matters,” she wrote.
Cute dance
The dance moment happened as Cillah and George made their way from the classrooms towards the school field, where a large dais had been set up for the performers and other activities.
As the two walked side by side, excited pupils could be heard cheering and clapping, creating an energetic atmosphere around them.
Cillah then broke into an Odi-inspired dance move, twirling both hands around her upper body and bringing them forward as she continued walking towards the field.
She appeared to execute the move with ease, prompting even louder cheers from the pupils who had gathered to watch the two make their way to the entertainment area.
George, who was walking alongside her at the time, is also seen looking in different directions as the learners cheered, waved and clapped at them.
The President’s son also appeared to enjoy the moment, occasionally moving his hands and clapping along as the excitement around them continued to build.
The lively walk eventually culminated in the afternoon entertainment session, where the learners were treated to music, dancing and performances as the school grounds came alive with excitement.
Westlands Primary
George’s visit came after he had earlier promised to support Cillah, whose online interactions and openly expressed interest in working with the President’s son had attracted considerable attention on social media.
During the visit, George first toured Cillah’s classroom, where he interacted with the learners and took time to speak to them as Cillah showed him around and offered a glimpse into her daily work at the school.
The visit later moved to the school field, where the learners were treated to an afternoon of entertainment featuring music, dancing and talent performances. Popular city nganyas Mood and Moneyfest also made an appearance, adding to the excitement among the pupils.
George and Cillah later joined the learners in a dance session after the event’s MC invited them to the front, with the pupils erupting into cheers as the two showcased their moves.
