TikToker Hilda celebrates recovery milestone after 6 weeks of post-surgery pain
By Katemarthason Okudo, August 17, 2026TikToker Hilda, popularly known as Online Bestie, has opened up about reaching a major milestone in her recovery journey after undergoing cosmetic surgery, revealing that she can finally sit down comfortably after weeks of pain.
Speaking in a video shared on her social media pages on Monday, August 17, 2026, the content creator celebrated exactly six weeks since undergoing the procedure, describing the moment as both emotional and rewarding.
The TikToker could not hide her excitement as she reflected on the challenging weeks that followed the operation. “Today marks exactly six weeks post-op. That simply means I can finally sit down. The Lord has done it, finally,” Hilda said.
Her latest update comes weeks after she decided to openly document her cosmetic surgery journey, giving followers a closer look at both the procedure and the recovery process.
Post-surgery pain
While sharing her experience, Hilda admitted that the first few days after the operation were much more difficult than she had expected.
According to her, the pain during the first week was intense despite her high pain tolerance. “After surgery, especially procedures such as liposuction and fat transfer, the first week is crazy. The first week is painful. Out of 100, I would honestly rate it at 99. Take it from someone who has a high pain tolerance,” she explained.

She revealed that she frequently asked her doctor when she would begin feeling better and was told that six weeks would be an important turning point in her recovery. The promise of feeling almost fully healed after six weeks became her source of motivation.
“I kept wondering when I would finally feel better. When I asked the doctor, I was told that after six weeks, I would be about 90 per cent healed. I kept looking forward to that date,” she said.
A journey shared publicly
Hilda first announced that she would undergo cosmetic surgery in July, explaining that she wanted to document the entire process with her followers.
In a video shared on her social media platforms, including YouTube, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, she explained that she had postponed the procedure several times before finally deciding to go through with it.
At the time, she revealed that the surgery would involve a breast reduction and the removal of fat from her stomach area. She also showed her body before the operation and promised to keep supporters updated throughout the healing process.
Following the surgery, she returned online to reassure fans that she was satisfied with her decision and had no regrets.

‘Time does pass’
Beyond discussing the physical changes, Hilda used her latest update to encourage people facing difficult situations in their own lives. She explained that her recovery journey had taught her an important lesson about patience.
“The good thing about life is that time does pass. Whatever situation you’re in, it will pass. Hours and days will move on until you get to a better day,” she said.
The TikToker added that the experience reminded her that pain is temporary and that healing takes time. “Time really does pass. The pain did pass. The body is now sculpted, and we’re enjoying the results,” she added.
