Terence Creative shares emotional phone call about Fred Omondi’s death that left him shaken

Terence Creative has opened up about a painful phone call that left him deeply shaken after learning about the death of comedian Fred Omondi.
On Monday, June 15, 2026, he shared that the call came at the time he received the news of Fred’s passing. The comedian explained that the moment was confusing and very painful for him.
“The most painful phone call I have ever received,” Terence Creative said.

He explained that the call came from a police family friend known as Ochieng, who was on duty on the morning Fred Omondi passed away. Terence said they spoke for about 45 minutes as he tried to understand what had happened. He added that the conversation left him confused and emotionally disturbed.
“We had a 45-minute call, it was so painful, I was so confused,” Terence Creative said.
Memories of Fred Omondi
Terence Creative said that after the call, he later recorded part of the conversation involving Ochieng and Erick. He explained that this moment happened two years ago on the same date they lost Fred Omondi. He said the memory remains painful and difficult for him to forget.
“It is exactly two years ago, a day like this, when we lost our brother,” Terence Creative said.

He went on to describe the late Fred Omondi as a key figure in the entertainment industry. He said the late Fred played a role in helping many comedians and entertainers find their path. Terence also shared that they once hosted a show together and had worked closely as brothers.
“He is a reason why many comedians and entertainers got their niche,” Terence Creative said.
Terence added that he still feels emotional whenever he thinks about the loss. He said the memories they shared will remain with him forever. He explained that the pain has not reduced with time and continues to affect him deeply.
“I feel shivers watching this, and I will never get over it,” Terence Creative said.
He further expressed his hope that people will not die before their time. He also sent a message of remembrance to other departed figures in the entertainment industry, including AKA, Gotea, Kasee, Othuol, Papa Shirandula, and others. He concluded by honouring Fred Omondi’s legacy and the impact he left behind.
