Stoopid Boy appeals to Ruto to create special days for youths to visit and chill at State House

Gota City rapper and Gengetone artiste Stoopid Boy has made a fresh appeal to President William Ruto, urging him to designate specific days when young people can visit State House, interact with him and engage in informal conversations.

In a video shared by Omosh One Hour on TikTok on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, Stoopid Boy, born Edgar, appealed directly to the President, saying youths should be given an opportunity to visit State House on designated days regardless of the day of the week.

“Mr President William Ruto, is it so hard to organise youths and help them in that State House? We should have our days. Different youths should have specific days to visit State House,” he said.

The musician proposed that the arrangement should allow different groups of young people to visit the official residence and workplace of the President at different times.

According to Stoopid Boy, the proposed visits should not necessarily be formal political engagements but rather opportunities for young people to meet the President, relax and have conversations in a more informal setting.

“It does not matter the day of the week. Just plan that we, the young people, can be coming there to State House,” he said.

Stoopid Boy also sought to assure Ruto that his appeal was not driven by hostility towards the President, saying that young people were interested in engaging with him rather than creating conflict.

“So, Mr President, that thing – we do not have any beef with you,” he said.

The musician further explained that the proposed interactions could provide an opportunity for young people to speak with the President openly and engage in conversations as adults.

“What we want is to be coming there and chill and have talks like adults,” he said.

Missing in action

Elsewhere, the ‘Tugonyere’ hitmaker broke his silence after days of mounting concern from fans who had been questioning his whereabouts.

In a video posted on his TikTok account on Monday, December 8, 2025, the Stoopid Boy hitmaker addressed the buzz directly.

Appearing calm but slightly emotional, with his hand resting on his chin, Stoopid Boy explained that his silence was not due to any crisis but simply because he has been focused on creating new music.

“Stoopid Boy amenyamaza hadoo music, ngojea hit we ngojea tu hit hit inaandikwa ndio hii kitabu wee ngojea hit naandika adi na pensil na inacome,” he told fans, adding that he has been in studio sessions working on material he believes will shake the industry.

He joked that he is even writing with a pencil to make sure the track comes out perfectly, telling fans to “wait for the hit”.
