Stevo Simple Boy gives marriage advice to Eko Dydda after singer marries in beautiful ceremony

Kenyan rapper Stevo Simple Boy has shared a heartfelt message urging couples to respect marriage and remain committed, following the beautiful wedding ceremony of gospel singer Eko Dydda.

Speaking during the ceremony on Saturday, May 30, 2026, Stevo emphasised the importance of patience, understanding, and peace in marriage, noting that many relationships today collapse shortly after they begin.

“In everything you do. Because nowadays you find that a very promising person gets a partner, but within one or two months they have called it off,” he said.

He clarified that he was not referring to Eko Dydda’s relationship specifically but was using it as an example while addressing the wider issue affecting modern relationships.

Stevo went on to encourage couples who find partners to work towards maintaining harmony and happiness, stressing that marriage can only succeed when both partners choose peace.

“But not in the case of Eko Dydda, no, I am just speaking and giving an example,” he added.

The rapper further urged couples to respect the institution of marriage and remain committed through challenges, saying stability and mutual understanding are key pillars of a successful union.

“And I also want to urge that if you have found a partner, please always stay in peace and happily so marriage can work and be good. Let’s respect marriage,” he said.

Stevo’s breakup

Separately, the Kibera-born rapper confirmed his breakup with girlfriend Brenda, ending a relationship that saw them welcome their first child together in November 2025.

In an interview with a local radio station on Friday, March 27, 2026, The Freshi barida hitmaker addressed rumours about their status, offering a glimpse into the couple’s decision to part ways while vowing to protect their family.

During the interview, Stevo was asked directly if the rumours about him no longer being with the mother of his child were true. He responded frankly that “ehh, inakaa ukweli,” indicating that the separation was true.

He added that part of their original plan had been to focus on raising their child, and hinted that there’s more to the story he will share at another time.

When asked what exactly happened, he described it as “ni story ndefu, story tutakuja kuongelea siku ingine,” suggesting the details are complex and will be discussed later.
