Tanzanian technology entrepreneur Isaya Yunge has sparked fresh excitement around his relationship with President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, after sharing a romantic video and hinting at their upcoming wedding.

Yunge shared the post on Instagram on Friday, August 21, 2026, accompanying it with a message about faith, God’s plans and the journey ahead.

The entrepreneur ended the message with a direct reference to their wedding, writing: “See you at the altar, my love.”

The post was accompanied by the hashtags #CAndI and #SaveTheDate, adding to speculation that preparations for the couple’s wedding are underway.

Romantic message

Yunge began his message by reflecting on faith and how following God’s plan can sometimes appear unusual to others.

He urged his followers to find peace in the belief that God would lead them where they needed to be.

“Always remember: ‘No one can stop God’s plans for your life,’” Yunge wrote.

The message has generated fresh interest in when Charlene and Yunge could hold their wedding ceremony.

The couple has already held their colourful traditional Koito engagement ceremony on Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Intonna Heritage Farm in Kilgoris, Narok County.

The ceremony brought together family members, senior government officials, politicians and other prominent guests as the two families marked the traditional step towards marriage.

Yunge’s latest message appears to signal that the couple’s journey is now moving towards the wedding ceremony.

However, he did not give a specific wedding date in the post.

The latest romantic message follows a series of public moments shared by the couple in recent weeks as they continue their journey towards marriage.

Yunge has previously shared glimpses of their relationship, including moments from their recent romantic getaway in China, where Charlene was pictured wearing traditional Chinese Hanfu attire.
