Cyrus, a middle-aged Kenyan whose striking resemblance to former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has recently made him a viral sensation, has offered fans a glimpse into the seemingly comfortable life he leads in the United States.
Cyrus first caught widespread attention after videos of him dancing at a Mugithi country music show in Seattle went viral, with many Kenyans online drawing comparisons between his appearance and that of Gachagua.

In a video shared on his TikTok page on Monday, August 24, 2026, Cyrus showed off a spacious white bungalow where he appears to live, alongside a black SUV parked outside the property.
In the clip, Cyrus is seen walking across the front yard towards the vehicle, appearing ready to get into it before turning around to address the camera.
He was dressed casually in a white T-shirt, a pair of jeans and a cowboy hat, completing the look with a relaxed smile as another person filmed him.

Cyrus has also left followers curious about what he does for a living in the US, with his social media posts offering a few clues but no definitive answer about his occupation.
In one of his recent videos, Cyrus spoke about people who keep postponing decisions because they are waiting for what they consider to be the perfect time to act.

The video, which was recorded during an outdoor diaspora festival in Seattle, Washington, showed attendees stopping to marvel at Cyrus’s facial features, smile and cheerful demeanour.
A text overlay on the video described him as a younger lookalike of Gachagua, while people gathered around him to take a closer look and exchange greetings.
One attendee could be heard exclaiming, “Huyu jamaa anafanana na Gachagua bwana!” as another called out “DP!” while Cyrus smiled and continued interacting with the crowd.
Others also pointed at him, jokingly calling him Gachagua and asking why he bore such a striking resemblance to the former Deputy President.
Kenyans online subsequently embraced Cyrus, with some affectionately referring to him as “Gachagua Mdogo” as his good-humoured reaction to the sudden attention won him even more admiration.
The viral moment also caught the attention of former Machachari actor Malik Lemmy, who was in the United States and encountered Cyrus at the same event. Malik shared a selfie of the two on his Instagram Stories, captioning it, “Truthful man!!!”
