Pritty Vishy enrols in DJ academy after backlash over her DJing skills

The academy on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, announced her admission in a social media post, saying Vishy had chosen to keep pursuing her dream despite facing doubt and criticism from some people.
The institution officially welcomed Vishy, describing her enrolment as more than just an opportunity to learn how to DJ.
“They laughed. They doubted her. They questioned whether she could really do it. Today, we are proud to welcome Pritty Vishy to Red Berry DJ Academy. Welcome to the Red Berry family, Pritty,” Red Berry DJ Academy said.
The academy said Vishy refused to allow the criticism to discourage her from pursuing DJing.
“She didn’t let the noise become louder than her dream. She showed up, put in the work, and decided to learn the craft properly,” the academy added.
The academy said her decision to pursue formal training demonstrated resilience, discipline and the courage to start something despite doubts from others.
“This isn’t just about learning how to DJ. It’s about resilience, discipline and having the courage to start something even when people don’t believe in you,” Red Berry DJ Academy said.
The academy encouraged Vishy not to allow other people’s opinions to limit her potential as she begins her training.
“Never let other people’s opinions become the limit of your potential,” the academy said.

Vishy also appeared eager to begin her training, sharing her own statement after joining the academy.
“Ready to be the baddest DJ,” she said.
Her enrolment comes after her DJing skills attracted criticism online, with some social media users questioning her ability behind the decks.
Rather than abandoning the craft, Vishy has now opted to undergo formal training and improve her skills.
Return to DJing
The latest development comes after Vishy had announced that she was stepping away from DJing following backlash over her decision to venture into the music industry. She later appeared to change her mind, announcing her return with a new mix on August 18, 2026.
At the time, Vishy said she was not giving up on DJing, telling her followers to get used to seeing her behind the decks as she continued learning and improving her skills.
Her decision to enrol at Red Berry DJ Academy now marks another step in her return to the craft after the backlash and her earlier announcement that she was quitting.
