Popular Kayole preacher Apostle Jackson Mwangi, who is the brother of Salvation Healing Ministry founder Prophet Victor Kanyari, has shared a message of encouragement with parents who feel dismayed by the adamant behaviour of their children.

Speaking in a video shared on TikTok on Saturday, August 8, 2026, Mwangi told parents that they could try every possible approach to advise their children and encourage them to change, but some situations may only change when the children themselves receive what he described as a message from God.

“Let me tell you one thing, my listener. When you have adamant kids, you might try your best to advise them on the way to go and beg them to change, but all means fail to work,” Mwangi said.

The preacher said parents could sit down with their children, talk to them repeatedly and try to persuade them to change their behaviour, but their efforts could sometimes appear to have little impact.

He argued that a turning point could come when God personally intervenes and sends a message to the child, saying such a message could achieve what repeated advice from parents had failed to accomplish.

“But you see, when God touches them and personally asks them to change, that is when their lives will have a turning point,” he said.

Mwangi said parents could spend years trying to guide their children, only to find that their words were repeatedly ignored.

He maintained that the situation could change when the children became receptive to what he described as divine direction.

“You may try to sit them down and talk to them and all becomes vanity, but you see when God takes that initiative himself, it works,” Mwangi said.

According to the preacher, a message from God could make an adamant child reconsider their choices and eventually change their behaviour.

“When He sends a message to them, they heed it. You will also see it,” he added.

Mwangi then shifted his message to parents who are struggling financially or waiting for opportunities they believe remain out of reach.

He told his listeners that wealth, money and success could sometimes appear distant and impossible to achieve, but said circumstances could change when he believes God sends people to intervene in a person’s life.

“And what I am saying in short is that that wealth and money and success you are trying to find and get may seem too far away and not achievable,” Mwangi said.

He illustrated his point using the example of people who owe someone money.

Mwangi said a person could struggle for a long time to recover money owed to them, but the situation could suddenly change if, according to his message, God prompted those debtors to settle what they owed.

“But when God sends people to you and makes a word, and all goes well, and He sends a word to people who owe you and tells them, ‘Please, today do not sleep without reimbursing what you owe to this person,’” he said.

Mwangi said the outcome could then come unexpectedly, with the person who had been waiting for payment eventually receiving a cheque.

“And then you will see later on that he writes you a cheque,” he added.
