Natalie Githinji discharged from hospital after endometriosis flare

Natalie shared the update with her fans through her social media accounts on Monday, August 10,2026, expressing gratitude to those who supported her during her hospital stay and visited her.
“I was discharged, but the journey is not over now. I am planning a few things before my surgery,” Natalie said.
She thanked everyone who stood by her during the difficult period, including those who took time to visit her at the hospital.
“Thank you all for supporting me. I am also so grateful for the people who visited me at the hospital,” she added.
“Still, endometriosis must be heard.”
Endometriosis flare
Natalie was admitted to hospital on August 3, 2026, after experiencing an endometriosis flare.
Her friend Laura Mbatha had shared the initial update on her behalf, asking fans to keep the media personality in their prayers as she received treatment.
“Hi guys, posting on behalf of Natalie. Today is one of those days we ask you to keep her in your prayers. She’s having an endometriosis flare and is currently admitted, receiving treatment,” Laura Mbatha said.
Upcoming surgery
Natalie’s discharge comes as she prepares for surgery, although she has not disclosed when the procedure will take place.
The media personality has also highlighted the financial burden associated with endometriosis treatment.
In an earlier update, she revealed that laparoscopic endometriosis surgery can cost between Ksh350,000 and more than Ksh1.5 million, depending on the severity of the disease and the facility where the procedure is performed.
“Endometriosis surgery range price: Laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis typically ranges from Ksh 350,000 to over Ksh 1.5 million, depending heavily on the disease’s severity and the facility,” Natalie wrote.
During her recent hospitalisation, comedian Eric Omondi also appealed to Kenyans to support Natalie after revealing that she had been rushed to hospital in severe pain and was undergoing further medical examinations.
As she begins the next stage of her treatment journey, Natalie continues to use her platform to raise awareness about endometriosis and advocate for better access to diagnosis and treatment.
