Kate Actress reacts to claims she is now single

Kate, who is dating Michael Mwangi, addressed the claims while speaking about her private life and why she does not share much about it publicly. In a local radio interview on Monday, August 10, 2026, she made it clear that she is doing fine despite the speculation about her relationship.
The actress was asked about reports that she had recently become single. Kate explained that she does not put her private life out there for everyone to see, which makes it difficult for people to know what is happening in her relationship.
She also appeared to dismiss the claims as speculation rather than confirming that she and Michael had broken up.
“I think it is just speculation because I am also not ..siweki maisha yangu private sana nje. Sioni haja ya kuput it out there, you know. So wako wako pamoja ama wameachana? Mimi niko sawa,” Kate Actress said on Monday, August 10, 2026.
Kate Actress keeps her private life private
Kate has previously spoken about aspects of her personal life, but she explained that she does not see the need to make everything public. Her response came as she was also asked about comparisons between her and American star Jennifer Lopez, commonly known as JLO. Kate joked about the attention surrounding the comparison before addressing the question about her relationship status.
“JLO ana rings ngapi? Naskia wananiita JLO wa Kenya. Mniwache jamani, mnanipa pressure,” Kate Actress said.
