Isaya Yunge, the partner of President William Ruto’s daughter, Charlene Ruto, has shared a powerful prayer message from Nigerian preacher Apostle Joshua Selman while urging his followers to make prayer a habit.

Yunge shared the video on Instagram on Sunday, September 13, 2026, with the word “PRAY” prominently written in capital letters, using an emotional prayer by Selman as the background audio as he took his followers through a visual journey featuring different scenes from his travels and experiences.

The video shows Yunge in several locations, including a safari where he is seen alongside Maasai warriors, while other scenes capture him taking in expansive landscapes and gazing across a valley.

In other moments, Yunge is seen herding cattle, enjoying wildlife and taking in the natural surroundings, creating a reflective visual backdrop for Selman’s intense prayer.

The prayer, delivered with deep emotion and moments of speaking in tongues, centres on spiritual capacity, preparation and the demands that come with pursuing significant assignments and influence.

Selman warns that reaching nations requires more than desire, a vision or goals, insisting that a person must develop what he describes as spiritual weight.

“You must have weight in the spirit to open the gates of nations. It is not a desire or vision or goals. It is weight in the spirit,” Selman says during the prayer.

The preacher goes on to speak about the spiritual challenges that can accompany assignments of great magnitude, warning that people may encounter forces and opposition beyond what they initially anticipate.

“There are rankings in the demons that will tear. And I am not trying to magnify Satan; I am just telling you the truth,” he says.

Selman further stresses that pursuing an assignment that involves nations requires significant capacity, arguing that such a journey involves dealing with spiritual forces, governments and antagonists.

“The level of intelligence it takes, you are dealing with spirits, you are dealing with governments, and you are dealing with antagonists. Come on, you need capacity,” he says.

The prayer then turns into a personal cry for enlargement, with Selman asking God to increase his spiritual capacity for the journey and assignment ahead.

“God, enlarge me. The journey is far. Enlarge my spirit. For the assignment,” he says.
