Kenyan content creator Nica Njenga has opened up about the amount she spent on her recent cosmetic surgery, giving her followers a detailed breakdown of the costs involved, from the procedure itself to travel and post-surgery care.

In a video shared on her Instagram page on Sunday, June 7, 2026, Nica explained that the total amount spent on the procedure and recovery reached approximately Ksh1.3 million on her liposuction, BBL, and arm liposuction surgery procedures in Turkey.

Cost of the surgery

According to Nica, the biggest expense was the surgery itself, which cost Ksh840,000. “For my surgery, I was charged Ksh840,000,” she said.

She noted that the package came with several benefits, including accommodation at a luxury hotel arranged by the clinic.

“With the clinic, I was given a free VIP hotel, which is five-star, since I booked with them. I was given free transfer, free breakfast,” she explained.

Nica added that her personal spending was limited during her stay because some of the services had already been covered, stating the only thing she bought for myself was lunch and dinner.

Additional procedures and medical expenses

Beyond the main procedure, Nica revealed that she also paid for extra work on other areas of her body.

“In the extra area that is the back or the inner thighs is Ksh116,000, which I also did,” she stated.

However, her recovery was not without challenges. Nica disclosed that she lost a significant amount of blood after surgery, forcing her to undergo a blood transfusion.

“I lost lots of blood after my surgery, so I had to get a blood transfusion, where I was charged Ksh51,000,” she said.

The complication also meant spending an additional night in the hospital, as she explained that the hospital she was in offers a free stay on the first night.

“Because I was doing badly and had lost lots of blood, I had to stay an extra night, which cost Ksh26,000,” she explained.

Recovery and travel costs

Nica also spoke about the importance of aftercare following cosmetic surgery. She revealed that she had to undergo specialised post-operative massages to aid her recovery.

“One needs to do a post-care massage after the surgery. Per section, it cost Ksh40,500 since I did three sessions,” she said.

Travel expenses also contributed significantly to the final amount, as she disclosed that her flight cost Ksh260,000 both to and fro since she did economy class.

Getting better after surgery

After adding up the procedure, accommodation-related expenses, medical care, recovery treatment, and travel costs, Nica said the total amount spent came to Ksh1.3 million.

“A total of everything comes to Ksh1.3M,” she said.
