Gloria Kyallo explains why she chose a different career after graduation

Kenyan celebrity Gloria Kyallo has explained why she chose a different career path after graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
On Thursday, September 17, 2026, she said she studied psychology with a minor in Chemical Dependency before moving into digital marketing.
Gloria explained that her decision was influenced by her experience after graduation. She said she spent a year living off influencing and discovered a different kind of satisfaction and fulfilment through the work.

“Easy. I did a BA in Psychology with a minor in Chemical Dependency. I’m now in Digital Marketing cause I lived off influencing for a year after graduation and found a new kind of satisfaction and fulfilment with it. Well, now I kind of feel different, soooo we’ll see,” Gloria said.
Gloria’s shift to digital marketing
The move has seen Gloria take a different direction from the course she studied at university. Her explanation shows that her experience after graduation played a part in helping her decide what she wanted to pursue.
Gloria said her year as an influencer gave her a new experience and helped her find satisfaction in a different kind of work. She also indicated that her feelings about her career could still change as she continues to figure things out.
“I lived off influencing for a year after graduation and found a new kind of satisfaction and fulfilment with it,” Gloria said.

Gloria is Betty Kyallo’s sister and the last-born among the Kyallo sisters. The family also includes Mercy Kyallo, with the sisters gaining attention through Betty, who is a successful media personality.
Her decision also shows how career paths can change after people finish their studies. Gloria studied Psychology but later found herself drawn to digital marketing after experiencing a different kind of fulfilment through influencing.
“Well, now I kind of feel different, so we’ll see,” Gloria said.
Sometimes people make different choices in their career paths, even after completing their studies. Gloria’s journey reflects how a person can explore other areas and choose a direction based on new experiences after graduation.
