Content creator Gen Z Goliath has opened up about his painful past, detailing how his baby mama walked away during his struggling days, only to resurface after his rise to success.

Speaking in an interview with Milele FM radio host Jacquey Nyaminde, widely known as Wilbroda, on Saturday, June 6, 2026, Goliath recounted how the relationship unfolded during a difficult phase of his life when finances were tight, and survival was the main focus.

He explained that things became too hard for his partner at the time.

“Saa hiyo maisha ilikuwa ngumu sana, pesa haikuwepo. Aliniambia hawezi kaa kwa hiyo situation,” he said.

Struggles before fame

Goliath described the period as one of constant hustle and uncertainty, where he was still trying to build himself while also taking responsibility as a young father.

“Nilikuwa bado najaribu kusimama. Life ilikuwa ni hustle tu, hakuna stability,” he said.

He added that even though life was not stable at the time, he still made sure he provided basic needs, especially food, whenever he could.

“Sikuwa na uwezo mkubwa, but nilikuwa naakikisha kuna chakula nyumbani,” he noted.

He noted that the breakup happened before he had gained recognition or financial stability, a situation that heavily shaped their separation.

As his content creation career picked up and stability followed, Goliath says his life changed significantly. With fame and financial improvement came renewed attention from his past.

It is at this point, he claims, that his baby mama attempted to reconnect.

“Baada ya mambo kubadilika, akarudi akisema tujaribu tena,” he revealed.

Refusing to reconcile

Despite the attempt to reconnect, Goliath says he stood firm on his decision not to revive the relationship.

“Mimi siwezi kurudi huko. Ukienda, umeenda…Kurudi siwezi,” he said.

He emphasised that once someone walks away during hardship, rebuilding the same relationship becomes impossible.

While shutting down reconciliation, Goliath stressed that his responsibility as a father remains unchanged.

“Mtoto ni wangu, nitamlea tu. Hiyo haitabadilika,” he said.

He added that his focus is now on growth, stability, and co-parenting without revisiting the past relationship.
