Diamond Platnumz’s sister Esma claims singer has only 3 children

Diamond Platnumz’s sister Esma Khan has claimed that the Tanzanian singer has only three children amid continued public interest in his family life.

Speaking during an interview with Wasafi FM, Esma said her brother is a father of three children while revealing that she personally has two children, including one she described as having passed away.

“Naseeb ana watoto watatu, na mimi nina watoto wawili mmoja bahati mbaya,” Esma said.

However, Esma did not provide further details about the children she was referring to or address Diamond’s previous remarks about children he has raised.

Diamond on raising children

In a previous interview with iHeartradio, the Bongo Flava star said he knows he has children but admitted that some children he has raised may not be biologically his.

He, however, said he continues to take care of them and avoids conflicts with their mothers.

“I know I do have kids. But I also know that some are not my kids… But I don’t want to argue with their mothers. I take care of all of them,” Diamond revealed.

Diamond Platnumz is publicly known to have children with three women.

He shares two children, Princess Tiffah and Prince Nillan, with Ugandan businesswoman Zari Hassan, a son Dylan with Tanzanian model Hamisa Mobetto, and another son, Naseeb Junior, with Kenyan singer Tanasha Donna.

Diamond’s desire

On the other hand, Tanzanian singer Zuchu, who is Diamond’s current wife, while opening up about the kind of family life she envisions once they have children together, revealed Diamond Platnumz’s desire to have a large family.

Speaking during an interview with a local bongo radio station on Thursday, June 18, 2026, the singer said that the bongo star hopes to father as many as ten children.

“My man Diamond wants ten children,” she disclosed.

However, Zuchu admitted that her own plans are much more modest.

While she did not rule out having children, she said she does not see herself raising such a large family and believes two children would be enough for her.

“But for me, I don’t think I can reach that number. The ones I can manage are only two,” she said.
