Dem wa Facebook shares her take on cheating, love and long-distance relationships

Speaking during an interview shared on social media on Thursday, September 24, 2026, Dem wa Facebook revealed that she once gave all her M-Pesa money to a man she loved, only for the relationship to end.
Dem wa Facebook on love
When asked whether she believes in love and the craziest thing she had done for someone she loved, Dem wa Facebook recalled how she once gave all her money to her former partner. “Nilimpea M-Pesa yangu yote. Eh, alafu ule ex akaniwacha,” she said.
She explained that she loved the man, but he eventually chose someone else. She joked that the relationship became a cycle of people loving different partners and eventually being left.
Her take on cheating
The conversation then turned to cheating, with Dem wa Facebook asked whether she would prefer to cheat back or remain with an unfaithful partner. She responded with a humorous take, suggesting that women can also respond when their partners are unfaithful.
“Wanasemanga, ‘What a man can do, a woman can do extra better.’ Akienda pande hii, iende hivi, tupatane finally,” she said.
She was also asked whether women should be forgiven when they cheat. According to her, forgiveness should work both ways in a relationship, arguing that women should receive the same understanding men expect when they make similar mistakes.
“Vile wewe unaenda kusamehea, pia mimi nisamehe. Because cheating ni accident. Vile wewe ulifanya tu accident ukacheat, pia mimi nikajipata kwa same accident. So, tusameheane,” she said.
‘Hakuna talking stage’
Dem wa Facebook also shared her thoughts on the talking stage, saying she does not believe in spending too much time trying to figure out whether someone is interested.
For her, people should be direct about their intentions instead of relying on signs or prolonged conversations. “Sisi hakuna talking stage. Ni tell me, nani, wasted time. Niambie unanitaka ama hunitaki, niende. Hii mambo ya signs achana nayo,” she said.
She then joked about the kind of direct approach she would prefer from someone interested in her, saying a man should simply state his intentions instead of leaving her guessing.
Why she prefers long-distance relationships
On long-distance relationships, Dem wa Facebook said she believes they can work.
She explained that she does not necessarily like the idea of seeing the same person every morning and spending most of the day together, suggesting that some distance can help keep a relationship interesting.
Her comments touched on different aspects of relationships, from heartbreak and forgiveness to communication and the space couples give each other, all while maintaining her usual humorous approach to conversations about love.
