Dem wa Facebook explains why she does not bathe her 4-month-old twins

Digital content creator and comedian Dem Wa Facebook has opened up about some of the challenges she has faced while caring for her four-month-old twin daughters.
Speaking during a candid conversation with media personality Tony Mwirigi, the comedian, whose real name is Millicent Ayuwa, revealed that she is yet to bathe her twins because she fears they could slip and fall while she is washing them.
“Hadi sai sijajua kuosha twins, nangoja wakuwe wakubwa kwanza juu mimi nafikiria nikiwaosha watateleza waanguke,” she said.
Dem Wa Facebook said the fear has also made it difficult for her to move beyond changing the twins’ diapers, despite having gradually learnt how to handle other aspects of caring for them.
“Kuwacha diaper najua shida ni kuwaosha bado naogopa wanaweza anguka sahi wako four months,” she explained.
Learning motherhood
The mother of two also said she had to learn how to properly dress and change the twins as they grew, admitting that she initially did not know how to put on their diapers correctly.
“Vile walifika 2-3 months ndio walinifunza kuwavalisha diapers, sikuwa najua vile nawafunga na kuwatengeneza vizuri ndio isiwafinye vitu mingi sikuwa najua nilikuwa na learn,” she said.
Dem Wa Facebook said she has relied heavily on her female fans for advice as she navigates motherhood.
“I have many female fans, so walikuwa wananifunza, mimi nmilikuwa naenda online naambia fans wangu, ‘Hapa sijui ni fanye nini?’ Nitapitia comments wameniadvise fanya hivi, kula kitu fulani, fanya hivi na hivi so najifunza pole pole,” Dem wa Facebook disclosed.
Twins’ birth
The entertainer welcomed her twin daughters on May 20, 2026, at exactly 7:25 am but kept their birth private for nearly a month before announcing the news publicly.
“On 20th May 2026, at exactly 7:25 AM, God blessed me with the most precious gift of all: my beautiful twin daughters. For the past month, I have been soaking in every moment and every feeling that comes with this incredible new chapter,” Dem Wa Facebook announced.
“Some blessings are so big, and some joy is so sacred that it needs time to settle into your heart before it can be shared with the world.”
At the time, she explained that she needed time to embrace motherhood before introducing her daughters to the public, while also thanking her family, friends, management team and online community for their support.
