Azziad Nasenya reveals mum lives in Germany as emotional birthday wish comes true

Actress and media personality Azziad Nasenya has opened up about the emotional moments leading up to her birthday, revealing that although her mother now lives in Germany, she still found a special way to make her feel loved from miles away.
Speaking in a TikTok video on Friday, June 26, 2026, Azziad disclosed that her birthday falls the following day and that she has made it a personal tradition to spend the eve of her birthday alone, reflecting on the past year before celebrating with others.
According to the digital creator, she intentionally takes herself out on a solo date every year to evaluate her life, think about the lessons she has learned and identify areas she hopes to improve.
“My birthday is tomorrow, and I always take myself out on a solo date on the day before and sit down with my thoughts, reflect and know what I can change,” she said.
Azziad explained that as she sat quietly enjoying a glass of wine during this year’s solo date, her thoughts naturally drifted to the many birthdays she has celebrated over the years.
“And as I was sitting down with my glass of wine, I found myself thinking about how I have celebrated past birthdays. With whom, with friends, the laughter, the celebration,” she said.
However, the reflections soon became emotional as she began thinking about someone she wished could have been by her side.
The media personality revealed that her mother currently lives in Germany, admitting that the distance made her miss her even more during such an important personal occasion.
“And then I thought about my mum who is far away in Germany. I really wish she were here with me,” she shared.
Just as she found herself getting emotional and lost in those thoughts, Azziad said something happened that instantly lifted her spirits.
According to her, her phone suddenly buzzed with a notification.
Curious to see who had contacted her, she picked it up only to discover that her mother had sent her money as an early birthday gift.
“And just as I was getting lost in that thought, my phone buzzed. I looked down and there it was, mum had sent me some money,” she revealed.
The unexpected gesture immediately changed her mood.
Azziad admitted that, regardless of how old someone becomes, receiving money from a parent never stops feeling special.
“Listen, I don’t care how old you are, but that money notification will always make you smile,” she said.
The content creator explained that what had started as a quiet evening of reflection instantly turned into a heartwarming birthday moment despite her mother’s physical absence.
She said receiving the surprise gift made her feel as though her mother was celebrating alongside her, even from another country.
“Suddenly, my solo date did not feel so solo,” she said.
Azziad went on to reveal that she marked the special moment by cutting a cake and singing Happy Birthday, turning what had initially been an evening of quiet reflection into a memorable celebration.
“We cut cake, we sang Happy Birthday,” she added.
