Apostle Joshua Selman urges Christians to keep sending prayer requests as his miracle service nears ends

Koinonia Global Ministries founder and lead pastor Apostle Joshua Selman has urged Christians to continue sending in their prayer requests as the church’s popular August 2026 Miracle Service at the Koinonia Abuja Centre draws to a close.
In a Facebook post on Saturday, August 29, 2026, the widely adored Nigerian televangelist called on Christians to submit their prayer requests, assuring them that distance would not stand in the way of their seeking God’s intervention through prayer.
“Send in your prayer requests for the August 2026 Miracle Service,” Selman wrote.
He accompanied the appeal with a Bible verse from Psalm 107:20, which reads: “He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.”
The pastor then directly addressed his followers, encouraging them to submit the matters for which they were seeking prayers during the August service.
“Precious Saints, send in your Prayer Requests for the August 2026 Miracle Service – KOINONIA ABUJA CENTER,” he said.
Selman further pointed to the power of the Word of God, saying it could bring healing, restoration, deliverance and transformation to those trusting in God.
“The Word of God carries the power to heal, restore, deliver, and transform,” he wrote.
He also encouraged Christians to approach the prayer service with faith and expectation, expressing hope that their personal challenges would receive divine intervention.
“As we trust God in prayer, may every expectation become a testimony and every difficult situation encounter the intervention of the Lord,” he said.
The Nigerian preacher also sought to reassure Christians who may not be physically present at the Abuja Centre, emphasising that physical distance would not prevent them from participating in the prayer initiative.
“Distance is not a barrier in the realm of the Spirit,” Selman stated.
He subsequently directed those wishing to participate to submit their prayer requests through the online platform provided by Koinonia Global Ministries.
Will Selman be at Rhema Feast?
The event will run from Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 4, under the theme “Come, Let Us Rebuild,” drawn from Nehemiah 2:17.
His inclusion means Selman will return to a gathering where he has previously ministered, having featured prominently at the 2025 edition of Rhema Feast, which also brought together a high-profile lineup of African preachers.
Rhema Feast is a non-denominational apostolic movement founded in 2015 under RUACH Assemblies, a ministry of The Purpose Centre Church, and is convened by Reverend Julian Kyula. The organisers describe it as a gathering centred on the Word, worship and spiritual renewal, drawing Christians from different backgrounds and nations.
The 2026 edition will run for five full days, with the main arena sessions open to the public without an entrance ticket. The programme is expected to combine preaching, worship and prayer, with the organisers describing this year’s theme as a call for believers to participate in rebuilding their faith, families, communities and society.
Selman will also be part of an international ministerial lineup that includes Nigerian, Kenyan, Ugandan, Rwandan and South African voices, while the worship programme features gospel names including Sinach, Dunsin Oyekan, Dr Tumi and Ntokozo Mbambo.
