Cassypool flies to Uganda to congratulate 86-year-old MP for being re-elected

Social media personality and political commentator Cassypool Capon has travelled to Uganda to personally congratulate General Moses Ali on his re-election as Member of Parliament for Adjumani West.
Cassypool took to social media on Saturday, January 17, 2026, to celebrate the milestone, praising the MP for proving that experience and dedication know no age limit.
“Congratulations, General Moses Ali, on your re-election as Member of Parliament for Adjumani West! At 86 years old, you’ve shown that experience and dedication know no age limit. The people of Adjumani West have spoken – they appreciate the transformation you’ve brought to their lives and want you to continue leading them.”
While some outsiders may have questioned his age, the residents of Adjumani West made it clear that they have full confidence in his leadership, recognising the positive impact he has had on their community.
“We’re proud, Adjumani is proud of you, General! The Nubian nation is celebrating with you,” Cassypool added.

This comes after Cassypool travelled to Uganda to campaign for Museveni as the East African country votes in its general elections.
The social media personality arrived in Uganda on Thursday, January 15, 2026, where he attended a campaign rally alongside President Museveni.
After being given the chance to speak at the event, Cassypool took to the podium to deliver an emotional message to the president and the gathered supporters.
He said he had brought greetings from Kenya and expressed admiration for Museveni’s leadership, praising the president for his work not only for Uganda but also for the East African region as a whole.
“I have brought greetings from Kenya, and we love Mzee Museveni very much. We follow him closely,” he said.
He shared that he and many Kenyans had come to offer flowers as a token of respect and to acknowledge Museveni’s achievements.
“And we have come to give him flowers early to show that he is doing great work for both Ugandans and Kenyans, and for East Africa in general,” Cassypool added.
In addition, the social media personality did not limit his remarks to praise alone, as he also made a heartfelt appeal to Museveni, urging him to prioritise the unification of East Africa should he secure another term in office.

Cassypool said he hoped the president would take concrete steps to strengthen collaboration among East African nations, ensuring that the region functions as one cohesive entity.
While at it, he said his message reflected the aspirations of citizens across the region who seek stability, growth, and unity.
“But, President, I would like to appeal to you for one thing. Because I know people are voting for you in large numbers, I plead with you that when you secure the seat again, you work to unite East Africa and make it one region. Thank you so much,” he said.
