On Monday, January 19, 2026, Betty took to social media to express how deeply touched she was by the thoughtful surprise.
She described the moment as a true reflection of her love language, praising Charlie for always being intentional and finding ways to make her smile.
“My love language is everything he just did. Feels soooo good to be in someone’s mind, and they are always thinking about things that can make you smile,” she wrote.
Further, the former TV anchor did not hold back her excitement as she publicly accepted Charlie’s Valentine’s proposal.
“That was always the goal. Thank You Honey Charlie, and yes I’ll be your valentines!”

In a series of Instagram stories on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, Betty talked about sleepless nights, hunger pangs, and discomfort.
Alongside these, she mentioned experiencing hip pain, which can make even small movements or attempts at rest difficult.
“Pregnant mummies, gosh, can we talk about losing sleep, njaa ya 4am and hip pain at night. Hii part sikumbuki. Kama uko same group I think we open a chat. Tuongeange hizi ma-time. Betty and her partner, Charlie Jones, announced that they are expecting a child on December 19, 2025. Sharing the news on Instagram, Betty told her fans, “We’ve been cooking something oh so sweet.” The post quickly drew messages of love and congratulations from followers.
The couple has been together for two years, and in November 2025, they celebrated their second anniversary with heartfelt messages on social media.
