Betty Bayo’s daughter speaks out after multiple impersonation accounts appear online
By Steve Ireri, December 18, 2025Late gospel singer Betty Bayo’s daughter, Sky Victor, has addressed growing concerns over multiple fake social media accounts impersonating her and her stepfather, Tash.
Speaking in a video shared on her TikTok page on Thursday, December 18, 2025, she clarified that she maintains only one official TikTok account and does not operate any backup or spam accounts.
“Hey guys, it’s Sky here, and I am addressing an issue that I have been seeing online. The issue has not been disturbing me, but it is quite uncomfortable, and I need to be straightforward about it. I am here to clarify that I do not have any other TikTok account. This account that I am posting from is my only account, and I do not even have a backup account or any spam account run by me,” she said.
Sky revealed that some accounts claiming to be hers may be reposting content from her Instagram page, creating confusion among her followers.
“So, if you come across a TikTok account and it seems like it might be mine, it may be that they are taking content from my Instagram and posting it. I will also provide my Instagram and Facebook accounts here so you can see them. I want to emphasise that I do not have spam or backup accounts,” Sky said.
The young influencer shared that while she has no objection to fan pages, any accounts posing as her without clear identification are misleading followers.
She emphasised that she does not manage or endorse these accounts and urged users to exercise caution before interacting with them.
“My message to those who have multiple accounts and are posing as me is this: if your account is meant to be a fan page, please indicate it clearly in your bio. A lot of people pretend to be me, and I have no problem with fan pages as long as it is made clear,” she shared.

Sky further revealed that her stepfather, Hiram Gitau, popularly known as Tash, is not active on social media.
She lamented that despite this, several accounts under his name have appeared online, some amassing thousands of followers.
She noted that her father has explicitly chosen not to create content or engage on platforms such as TikTok or Facebook.
“Another thing I want to clarify is that my dad, Tash, is not a social media person. I have seen many accounts in his name that have grown large followings, but he does not own any TikTok accounts and does not even have a Facebook account. He is simply not online. I even asked him if he wanted to make content online, and he said no, he does not want to,” Sky added.
Sky warned that fake accounts could be used to generate misinformation or drama online and urged her followers not to believe or engage with such profiles.
She reassured fans that all her content is posted exclusively through her official accounts and expressed her commitment to continue creating material for her audience.
“So, please know that my dad has no social media accounts. I am also aware that some fake accounts are being used to create drama or confusion online. Please do not believe those accounts. I love you guys and I will keep creating content for you,” she added.
