Ben Githae appeals for prayers after gospel singer Regina wa Anganiwe is hospitalised

Gospel singer and media personality Ben Githae has called on fans and well-wishers to continue praying for his close friend, Regina, who is currently receiving treatment at Avenue Hospital in Parklands.
In a Facebook post on Sunday, December 28, 2025, Githae shared that Regina is responding very well to treatment and asked everyone to keep her in their prayers.
“Our friend Regina is responding very well to treatment at Avenue Hospital! Let’s all continue praying for her,” Githae wrote.
Regina’s message
Regina, who performs under the stage name Regina wa Anganiwe, then expressed deep gratitude to the friends who have supported her during this difficult time.
She described friends as angels who lift each other up when life becomes challenging and noted that she hopes everyone will always have access to such friends in times of need.
“Friends are angels who lift us up when our wings forget how to fly. These kinds of friends, I pray that God never denies you access to them when you are in a situation like mine,” Regina wrote.

She highlighted the support she has received from Githae, Pastor Ann, and their mutual friend Wacheke, drawing a comparison to the biblical story of the three wise men visiting Abraham and Sarah.
“Starting with Ben Githae and pastor Ann and our friend Wacheke, you have done just like what the 3 wise men did when God sent them to visit Abraham and Sarah,” Anganiwe shared.
She also reflected on the sacrifices friends make to ensure others are remembered, likening it to the story of King Xerxes, who could not sleep until Mordecai was remembered.
Regina said she has learned that God can send someone to endure sleeplessness so that others can be remembered, and she prayed that those who helped her would themselves be remembered.
“And this is what I say to you for coming to my aid, that in the same way the king lacked sleep so Mordecai could be remembered, I have learnt that God can also send someone and they even endure lack of sleep, so you can be remembered. And in that same way, I say and pray that you be remembered also in Jesus’ mighty name,” Regina added.
Regina then confirmed that she is still receiving treatment at Avenue Hospital and expressed appreciation for the support from Sir James Kenyan, Bishop JJ Gitahi, and Biyo.
She acknowledged the depth of her gratitude and said she lacked enough words to fully convey her thanks.
“And to update my friends, I am still being treated at the Avenue Hospital Parklands, sending appreciation for support also to Sir James Kenyan and Bishop JJ Gitahi, and I am lacking enough words to say thank you,” Regina shared.
