Battle of billions! Inside soul-crushing rivalry between Chief Godlove and Kenyan Prince
In the humid, high-stakes world of Nairobi’s ultra-wealthy, a war of the wallets has erupted that makes the Real Housewives look like a Sunday school picnic.
The battle of the billions is officially underway between the two most polarising figures in East African social media: the philanthropic powerhouse Chief Godlove and the brash, cash-flashing Kenyan Prince.
While most Kenyans are grappling with the rising cost of living, these two titans of TikTok are locked in a soul-crushing game of one-upmanship, trading insults and bank statements to prove who truly owns the city.
Chief Godlove has recently sensationally relocated his operations from Dar es Salaam to a multi-million-shilling penthouse in Nairobi.
The tycoon, who claims to have bought his Ford Mustang from Fast & Furious star Vin Diesel, has left the capital bewildered by his spending.

Sources close to the star claim his weekly overhead for security, fuel, and lifestyle hits a staggering Ksh10 million.
Even more stomach-churning for his rivals is his purported philanthropic reach; Godlove claims to donate Ksh45 million monthly to charity – a figure that dwarfs the entire net worth of some of his loudest critics.
But the Kenyan Prince isn’t backing down. The young Forex trader, who first went viral for flaunting Ksh6 million in cash while still a teenager, has branded Godlove’s wealth ‘on-paper only’.

In a series of aggressive digital outbursts, the Prince challenged the Chief to a live date where both would bring their liquid cash to be counted in real-time.
“Mimi niko na pesa kwa mfuko (I have more liquid money than him),” the Prince boasted to his followers.
However, the golden life hasn’t been without its harrowing setbacks.
In January 2026, Chief Godlove was forced to issue a blistering denial after reports surfaced that his luxury cars – including a custom Maybach – had been auctioned by a bank in Tanzania due to debt.

“I brought these cars to Kenya myself!” a defiant Godlove told reporters as he showcased his fleet in the Nairobi, where fans broke his Mustang’s windscreen in a desperate scramble to touch the “billionaire.”
While Godlove fights off malicious auction rumours, the Kenyan Prince is facing a much colder reality.
Following his bold displays of uncounted banknotes on TikTok, the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) placed the young trader under intense scrutiny.
As the two rivals continue to battle for the King of Nairobi title, the message to their followers is clear: in this world, if you aren’t spending millions, you aren’t even in the room.
