Andrew Kibe congratulates himself for international award

Controversial media personality Andrew Kibe has congratulated himself for winning an international award.
Through his social media accounts on Monday, January 26, 2026, the former radio presenter turned online troll and podcaster, posted a screenshot of a graphic by the African Golden Awards showing that he had been selected as the most influential podcaster of the year.
Accompanying the screenshot was a caption in which he congratulated himself for putting himself first and advised his followers to do the same.
“Congratulations to me for putting me first. You should try it as well,” he wrote.
In their congratulatory message, the African Golden Awards described Kibe’s contribution to Africa’s digital media landscape as a masterclass in influence.
“We are profoundly honoured to announce the winner of ‘The Most Influential Podcaster’ category at the Africa Golden Awards 2025: Andrew Kibe,” the organisation stated.

Kibe has been a force to be reckoned with within the online circles, with his live shows and podcasts attracting hundreds of thousands of viewers. His work has seen him clash with many of his subjects but he does not seem to be slowing down any time soon.
