Actress Vicky Muthiora has married her long-time partner Muigua Njoroge in a lavish private wedding, attended by family, a select group of friends, and several high-profile guests.

In a video shared by SPM Buzz on Instagram on Friday, December 5, 2025, Muthiora is seen walking down the aisle, looking radiant in a stunning white gown as guests cheered her arrival.

Her husband, Njoroge, looked equally elegant in a tailored suit featuring a white coat paired with black trousers, while his groomsmen appeared sharp and stylish in coordinated maroon and black suits.

Njoroge was even seen performing sleek dance moves as he walked down the aisle to meet Muthiora, prompting excitement and applause from the guests.

The ceremony was graced by several Kenyan celebrities, including actresses Sandra Dacha and Jacky Vike, popularly known as Awinja, both of whom arrived in striking outfits.

Awinja wore an all-black gown with an off-shoulder cut, paired with a sleek red sun hat that added a bold and fashionable touch.

Dacha looked elegant in a gown made of fabric resembling traditional Nigerian kitenge, complemented by a matching headpiece that added a regal element to her ensemble.

The SPM Buzz video shows the celebrities walking into the wedding together and proceeding to their designated seats in a beautifully decorated reception area. The setting combined elegance and intimacy, reflecting the couple’s taste and the exclusivity of the event.

In a separate clip shared by SPM Buzz, Muthiora is seen without the head veil that had initially concealed her face. Her hourglass figure was clearly visible, drawing cheers and admiration from the guests, who praised her transformation and the elegance of her attire.

Body shamers

In the days leading up to her wedding, some social media users criticised Muthiora, claiming that she was trying to hide her stomach and commenting that she had visible layers of fat.

Muthiora addressed the comments directly, explaining that her stomach is naturally visible and that she cannot, and should not, try to hide it.

She expressed frustration at the petty nature of the criticism, pointing out that people’s bodies naturally vary, and that such remarks were unnecessary and unkind.

“Even if someone has a big stomach, it cannot be hidden, and I cannot cut or hide mine. This is my stomach, and I won’t try to conceal it. I have seen comments saying I have layers of fat, and sometimes people are just very petty,” she said at the time.
